Can boot and stay up successfully as long as using Intel graphics.
Same issue, but was not a full reinstall. Rebooted again, can't get past Windows logo. Rebooted Shell experience host error returned, Windows updates had ran again. Computer went to sleep again over nightĬomputer woke up fine, ran for about an hour. Stayed up for 4 hours, put computer to sleep, woke up without issue and another 2 hours. A few more reboots and the same thing, Was able to install latest Nvidia driver. Driver failed to install, black screen Was able to use VNC to still see desktop Device Manager showed GTX 970 greyed out and not detected. Rebooted and was able to login, began Nvidia driver install. Was able to boot normally for about 30 minutes before I had another black screen. Used DDU to fully uninstall Nvidia driver. Switched from DVI cable to HDMI and tested additional monitor, same issue.īooted to safe mode with networking on GTX 970 no problem. Intel adapter and VNC both just black screen. Switched back to GTX 970 was able to boot successfully, but had another no signal error shortly. Still could not boot past the Windows logo.Įnabled onboard Intel graphics and allowed for multi monitor with it and was able to boot successfully. Restored an incremental backup from before the Windows update. I could sit in BIOS or boot to my Macrium recovery partition and there would be no issues, or even the preboot Windows menu, only once Windows started actually booting. Rebooted computer ran fine for a few hours, same issue. Then had black screen "No signal found" Pressing ctrl+alt+del resulted in a dong sound from windows like an error message was up.
On Dec 9th was using the computer Windows update ran.
